Human factors integration in engineering projects

Join us together with the Engineering New Zealand Canterbury branch for an in-person presentation by Pascal Koostra on human factors integration in engineering practice. The event will be livestreamed so feel free to tune into the event. 


During this seminar, the discipline of Human Factors will be introduced, and the usefulness of the discipline in engineering design will be discussed. Approaches, methods and tools will be presented, using case studies from recent projects including the Sydney Metro and the Newcastle Light Rail system.

Presenter:
Pascal Koostra – the Director of Operations for Tactix Group, a consultancy and project delivery business that has been at the forefront of high-profile rail and road transport projects across Australia. Pascal manages human factors integration for large-scale infrastructure projects by applying psychology and user-centred design if the creation of safety critical products and systems.
